Large house, Reasonable landlord, neighbours from hell
So the property when we moved in was in a good state of condition, the sofas were a little old, but everything worked properly. The upstairs main bathroom was absolutely gorgeous in terms of space and a large tub, there are 3 bathrooms but the master bedroom includes a shower room, this didn't work before we started and was never resolved. The landlord was a very reasonable bloke, although we had to drum in several times about being notified of him coming round, as this wasn't always passed by the estate agentsor to us. Some issues did take a matter of weeks to fix and some were not fixed at all during our stay, but they were minor things and after the property was vacated we were charged £100 each out of our security deposit, which going by previous lettings, was not too bad at all. The living space was a little small, but then the room sizes did make up for this, one of the bedrooms downstairs was the former living room, so this accounts for the reduced space. The large kitchen stove was also top nick and perfect for 7 tenants. Moving onto the neighbours, they were an absolute nightmare, they constantly complained about noise despite having all their doors open constantly, the woman took a rather bullying approach to us and did not make an effort to try to be reasonable when we were calm, and wanted to come to an understanding. For future tenants these people do have a for sale sign outside their home now, so you may not have to deal with this.
